Traditional House of Aceh
- Aceh traditional house called house position by society. Rectangular house position extends from east to west. According to the story, the election form to facilitate the determination of the direction of Qibla. Understandably, the people of Aceh known to be very strong hold of Islam. House position is made from building materials that dominated the wood and mighty and reinforced with pegs, not nails. Therefore, few people now build house position, as they are expensive, not like before when the wood is still easily available.

The main components of the traditional houses Aceh consists of the following chambers, of which Seuramou-keu (front porch), Seuramou-likoot (back porch), Rumoh-Inong (main), Rumoh-quiet kitchen (kitchen), Seulasa (terrace), Kroong-padee (granary), Keupaleh (gate), and Tamee (pole). Pole strength is the main foundation of house position. Pole-shaped timber with a diameter of 20-35 cm 150-170 cm tall it could amount to 16, 20, 24, or 28 rods. The existence of these poles facilitate the process of moving home without having to unpack.
