Who Develop Plan and why need to Plan ? - Planning is not a "them" but "we." Planning is not something happens "to us" but "by us" in every organization that achieve a consistent and meaningful results. Planning is an essential part of every manager's job. Notice that the manager has a letter m small. This is not a position or a position in an organization. The manager is anyone who has the responsibility to utilize the resources, which can start from the millions of dollars and hundreds of people to how you used your own time and effort.
My definition of management is the effective use of limited resources for got expected results. The purpose of this blog, as well as two other blogs in this series, is to help improve your effectiveness as a managers in how to improve your skills in preparing the plan on the basis of everything that has been running effectively to yourself. This particular book focuses on tactical planning, short-term, or who is sometimes called the annual plan.
Some concepts and techniques in this book describes the fields that you know, while others will provide additional managerial insights.
